I have known traditional medicine for a long time. I will tell you about the most famous properties of this tincture!

Raspberry tincture:

Into 4 cups of water boiled on low heat you must put 1 cup of raspberries. Then strain and pour 0.5 liters of vodka into it, add 1 cup of sugar and 1 kg of walnuts. The tincture must stay in darkness for 10 days and should be taken 1 tablespoon three times a day one hour before eating.

Medicinal properties of raspberry

In modern official medicine raspberry is used as an antipyretic and diaphoretic remedy, also used in the form of syrup to improve the taste of medicines.
Among the main properties of raspberry is also its ability to treat diseases of the cardiovascular system. Above all, this is a means of strengthening the walls of blood vessels.
In case of stomach malfunction (heartburn, pain, feeling of heaviness after eating) its leaves, flowers and twigs are indispensable. For this, prepare raspberry infusion: pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of raw material and leave for 1 hour. Drink 0.3 cups 3 times a day 20 minutes after eating.
Ulcers of the stomach and duodenum are best treated with raspberry juice and not berries. Drink 1–1.5 tablespoons of juice 15 minutes before each meal.
Traditional medicine has long used two properties of raspberry.

Raspberry tincture

The first property of raspberry is anti-inflammatory. You can use flowers, leaves, twigs, berries (the dried fruit must be poured with water). In this form, raspberries can be stored for up to three years. Strain and refill raspberries with the same amount of water. Drink 2 tablespoons 15–20 minutes before eating. In case of inflammation of eyelids, eyes, rash on the skin as acne it is necessary to wash the face with raspberry water.
The second property of raspberry, known for centuries – phytotherapists use raspberry leaf decoctions and infusions for the treatment of cough for internal use, and externally they use them for pustular skin lesions and sore throat.
Raspberry contains sugar and acids – citric, malic, salicylic. The presence of the latter determines its anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and diaphoretic action.

The berries contain many pectin substances, vitamins, as well as minerals: potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron. Such “wealth” places raspberry among the most valuable berries.

Previously there was an assumption that raspberry is contraindicated for people with impaired uric acid metabolism due to the high content of purines. However, special studies have shown that the amount of purine in raspberry is very small.

Dried raspberry

Raspberry berries are delicate, so in order to obtain a good quality product it is necessary to correctly select the raw material. Only fresh, ripe and absolutely undamaged berries picked in dry weather should be taken. Unripe, overripe, crushed berries are not suitable for drying!

Raspberry is usually dried in the oven, the fruit is considered well dried if it does not stain the hands. Well-dried raspberry does not crumble into small parts.

In dried form raspberry is used as filling for pies, as well as for brewing tea.

Frozen raspberry

The method of rapid freezing of fruits and berries cannot be called new. It is known that not all fruits retain taste, aroma and shape after freezing.

Raspberry simply belongs to their number, because their thin shell is easily destroyed in the process of strong freezing.
